movie review time:

i saw the new romantic comedy someone like you today. it was decent, except for the moral of the story which is to fall for a ho. i hope i didn't give the story away.

it was nice to see ashley judd get to show off her comic side. she's been in so many bad movies since her wonderful debut in ruby in paradise, it's a relief to see her at her best again. she is so damn charming, that girl.

hugh jackman was alright, although too frank stallone-ish with that haircut to show off any real chemistry in my eyes.

the movie did have some fresh moments, made some good points about the war between the sexes, and it was fun to hear the audience laugh at ashley's little facial expressions and when she says "inexplicably" with perfect delivery.

right now i have the original version of the parent trap in the vcr. now that's charm on a stick!
