cordoroy licorice minded his p's and q's. not many people would let a letter of the alphabet boss them around, but cordoroy was absolutely loyal to such characters. for example, he would never cross his t's.

i saw bridget jones' diary this weekend and thought the most fascinating character was bridget jones' cellulite.

i couldn't believe how odd it was to see a female romantic lead who wasn't size 4 tiny. i was a bit turned-off by the sight. don't get me wrong. it's just that i see enough off the dimply stuff in my mirror, thank you very much.

she wasn't even that overweight by real-world standards. just an average gal. but my eye is trained to see on-screen perfection, so the sight of plumpness (in someone not playing a mom role) was jarring.

it was refreshing to see a "realistic" female form...and to see that the girl walking around in that form was considered just as big a dish as the ones she consumed getting ready for the role.

nikka costa is supposed to be the "next big thing," and it seems well-deserved. i just got her album, everybody got their something, this weekend and it's a funky, soulful, rump-bompin' treat! the girl can thrown down.
